It was an average weekend, my sister rented movies and we watched some that we had and some that were on tv. Now I'm not much of a movie afficianado based entirely on the fact that they can not keep my attention. So when watching movies I am usually also reading a book or doing something else. But this last weekend deemed that I would watch movies.
I must say I don't usually watch so much tv or movies for some odd reason this last weekend was exception. I have decided to share that experience with you. What I watched and my opinions, I'm avidly curious of anyone elses opinion on what was watched.
( Movie experience... ) ( Movie Experiences... )
So I hope I haven't ruined the movie for anyone who wanted to see Zombie Strippers, not that I gave away the ending or anything. Yeah if you didn't know they made a movie called Zombie Strippers... I watch bad things. But I also watch good things, like Little Miss Sunshine, that gets a whoot whoot.

Right then, I'm working on posting my first fic. Or at least the first part of my first fic. Right now I'm all discombobulated with the posting process, I feel like a complete goober trying and then retrying to get this right, ugh I wonder if anyone else has or had problems when they were first posting or if I'm just a special child like that.
Ok the fic was inspired by my experiences at culinary school and how everyone ran on caffeine and yum yums. Seriously, when the school cafe has to make a special coffee that has extra caffeine you begin to wonder...
Sweet fuzzy help me but teh Wacky Races on tv aren't helping any when it comes to posting...
But here we go...

Um err ok then, right now I'm tippy toeing into the fanfiction posting thing. But I was wondering if anyone would know where to find a good beta reader? As I am a pansy and have never had the moxy to post something before and have not needed a beta before, I have no knowledge where to find one, let alone a good one. So if anyone knows anything that would be great... Thanks :)

Ok then, just gonna keep this simple. As an avid fanficcer (see lurker in dictionary) I have come across many stories that were unavailable because I was not on LJ. So I sucked it up and finally got one, and LJ account that is. Golly gee, the stories I have found!!! Now I know why I haven't done this before. Self-preservation and for knowing that I will choose fic reading over sleep almost every time. So yeah, I must state here and now that the fact that I value a good story over sleep is odd. But it comforts me to know that I am not the only one out there who has this opinion.
On the off chance that I do post a story, drabble, ramble, insane babbles, or just pitch ideas around, please be tolerant of my sad attempts at dipping my fingers into the sacredness that is ficcage. I can truthfully say though that I do have a firm belief in coherency when it comes to writing and especially reading a fic. What's the point of writing something, sending it out into the world and having it subjected to others when they have little to no idea what they just read because you couldn't be bothered to check your spelling or grammar.
*Points upwards* Look everybody, soapbox ranting! Yay!
Ooohhh, and just a little personal info here because I think it's cool and I know a lot of people can't say they do this for a living, I am a cupcaker. That's right, I work at a cupcakery, where we only make cupcakes and sell them. Swanky ain't it? Not really, it's actually pretty retro and fun, but hey, I'm not bragging or anything, I just think it's neat to do this for work.
Ok um, toodles for now then. :)

Totally prepared for a Zombie outbreak. As zombies are one of the things I fear the most, I have done extensive research in the area of zombie fighting, defense against, and destruction of zombies. The best way to destroy a zombie is to always take it's head, and to have a weapon handy that won't run out of amo but also won't put you in reach of the zombie itself. As it has been explained in many a movie, you will most likely not survive by yourself so you better have a posse you can trust. Also, learn as much as you can about spot mechanics, how to weld, build and create things out of completely other things.
I recommend reading and studying the Zombie Survival Guide, it is a font of information of survial techniques, ideas, and sources to obtain many things that you would need to survive in a zombie outbreak. Where I'm from we actually have of group of people called the Zombie Squad. I've met a few of the people in the squad, nice people. They have their head on their shoulders, and they totally know what they're talking about. In all reality and in the event of a zombie outbreak, I have come to only one conclusion. No matter how paranoid or how prepared you think you are, most likely you are going to have to wing it.
